Eastland Medical Systems Ltd listed on the ASX in January 2002, as an international medical products company, that develops, manufactures and distributes medical treatments and pharmaceuticals
Major milestones for the company have been the acquisitions of Medical Industries Australia Pty Ltd. (MIA) in November 2003 and WestCoast Surgical & Medical Supplies in August 2006.
The development of the Eastland organisation continues to progress rapidly. 2007 saw the introduction of Pharmaceuticals with the groundbreaking ArTiMist anti-malaria treatment for children. This product is due for market release in late 2008 on completion of final clinical trials. All trials to date have been highly successful. The revolutionary sub-lingual method of administration of ArTiMist overcomes the many obstacles of older tablet style treatments.
The coming months will see the execution of plans to enter targeted international markets with this revolutionary product.
